Dark roasted coffee doesn’t have to taste bitter or burnt. We air roast it in small batches, and get it to you right away because we think coffee beans should be ground and brewed immediately after roasting. Sip it or chug it. Drink it morning, noon or night. We don’t care—we just love the stuff. And so will you.

WHAT’S THE DEAL
 WITH AIR  ROASTING?

Most Roasters don’t do it because you can’t do big batches like you can in a drum roaster. But the sweet thing about air roasting is that chaff (the super thin shell that sloughs off during roasting) is caught in a filter instead of staying in there with the beans. The chaffe is what makes it taste bitter. So by small-batch, air roasting our beans we get a smooth, dark roast that doesn't taste burnt. Pretty sweet.
